I went back to my internship after two weeks of absence due to the Arts Festival and Easter holiday. I started by doing some research on people who are going to be at Writefest to find a picture of them and also their bio. It was tedious work, but not completely uninteresting because I got to read all of the people's bios in the process which kept me interested. Next, I added more peoples names to Mailchimp trying to decipher the messy handwriting of many people. Most of the time I was successful, and with a little help, we got through them all. This didn't take too much time, so I started adding peoples names, address and member status into the database. I took my time on this because I kept getting nervous I would mess up the information. I eventually finished this, then went over them again, just to be sure I had put in the right information for the categories. This week I went back to Writespace after a three-week break expecting things to be a little different. First off I hadn't been there in three weeks, and second Ms. Olsen, who had previously been in charge had taken another job so now Ms. Clarke was going to be working with me. I had worked with Ms. Clarke a little before so I wasn't too nervous about what I was going to be doing. Once I got there I immediately started by entering the very confusing world of Facebook. As someone who has never used Facebook before this was very confusing, but eventually, we figured out how to work the website and I got to work. I was posting the weekly posts of Wandering Wednesday and Sunday Celebrations so I would create the post than figure out how to schedule them in advance.
