I went back to Writespace for the first time after winter break and was a little nervous to be back, but I was also very excited. When I first got there I started by talking more about what I wanted to do over the next semester. I knew I wanted to learn more about the workshops and how they are put together and what happens during them so this is how I spent the first few minutes of my time. After I went to something I had done before, where I was putting information into a website to promote the events. This is a task that can get very repetitive, and it did a little bit, but I also got to see all of the workshops that were happening from now through December. I read a little bit about each one and was able to get an idea of what kind of workshops they like to teach at Writespace. Since there were a lot of workshops this took up most of my time, but in the last twenty minutes or so I looked for articles about the types of writing that was taught in each workshop. I looked for articles and put them on a spreadsheet so people could see what other people had said about this type of writing, what they thought about it, and why they thought it was important. Although I didn't have time to find too many articles I still found it very interesting to get to learn more about these types of writing and writing styles I didn't know very much about. Some of them I had barely heard of, or barely thought of, but it was pretty cool to learn a little bit more in depth about all of them.
